INGREDIENTS (4 PEOPLE)
- 4 spring or green onions (roughly chopped)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 jalapeño (seeded)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 450 g minced chicken or turkey (±1 lb)
- 1 lime (zested and juiced)
- 5 ml ground cumin (±1 tsp)
- 5 ml ground paprika (±1 tsp)
- 50 g shredded cheese of choice (±½ cup)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For Serving
- Burger buns, guacamole, lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced red onion, Mexican hot sauce...
INSTRUCTIONS

Place spring onions, cilantro, jalapeno and garlic in the SuperSonic Chopper Extra and finely chop.

Place chopped contents from the Chopper and all remaining ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.

Evenly divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties using the Hamburger Press.

To cook using the MicroPro Series Grill:
Place 2 patties in the MicroPro Series Grill. Place cover on in the grill/low position and microwave for 4 min. at 900 watts. Flip patties and microwave for an additional 4 min. or until golden and cooked through to an internal temp of 74°C / 165°F. Repeat with remaining 2 patties.

To cook on the stove top:
Heat a large fry pan on medium heat, adding a small amount of oil if needed. Cook burgers for 5-6 min. Flip patties and cook for 5-6 min., or until burgers reach an internal temperature of 74°C / 165°F.

Remove burgers from pan and allow to rest for 5-10 min. before serving.

Serve patties in burger buns with desired toppings.
